Base Rails Included as Standard
Every shelter in our range includes base rails as part of our all-inclusive design guarantee, ensuring lasting performance, superior waterproofing, and a faster, safer installation process.
Base rails form a sealed connection between the shelter and container, preventing leaks and protecting assets from harsh weather. Unlike traditional designs fixed to the container roof, our system secures the cover at the base rail, preserving container integrity and reducing the risk of corrosion or water ingress.
This innovative system also allows full mounting flexibility, enabling installation on containers, posts, walls, roofs, or directly on the ground. It’s a robust, adaptive solution engineered for real-world conditions and trusted across industrial, mining, and agricultural environments.

Container Domes Australia is a family-owned business operating from a state-of-the-art fabrication facility in Yandina, Queensland. Founded in 2014 by Georgie and Paul Whitla, our company has spent more than a decade designing and manufacturing premium-quality shelters that meet the demands of Australia’s most challenging sites.
Each dome is engineered, welded, and quality-checked in-house, ensuring full traceability, exceptional build quality, and compliance with Australian Standards. By keeping our entire production process local, we’re proud to support Australian jobs, strengthen regional manufacturing, and uphold the highest standards of workmanship in every structure we build.

Our licensed teams hold qualifications in Crane, EWP, Rigging and Forklift operations, with safety procedures tailored to meet each state and territory’s specific requirements. All work is completed in accordance with ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety, engineer-approved lift planning, and detailed project supervision to maintain consistency, quality and compliance from mobilisation to completion.
For sites where hot-works permits cause delays or container integrity must be maintained, our weld-free mounting systems provide a safe, damage-free installation method that enables rapid deployment, relocation or removal as site needs evolve.
