The Scope of Works
Scholz Transport, a transport company, required a workshop and storage facility for their equipment and materials. The facility needed protection from wind, rain, and sun, with two domes positioned side by side, each serving as a separate workshop and storage space.
The Challenges
- The client needed two separate domes side by side, providing enough space for storage and workshop use while keeping them functionally independent.
- The 6.5 m apex was designed to provide sufficient internal clearance for equipment storage and allow forklifts to manoeuvre safely.
The SOLUTION
- Container Domes Australia designed custom front and rear end walls along with a 6.5m apex for both domes.
- The side-by-side configuration maximized usable space while keeping the two domes independent for storage and workshop use.
- Full-height 4m openings were included in the front walls to facilitate equipment movement and storage access.
- The result is a durable, functional, and tailored shelter that meets Scholz Transport’s operational requirements while protecting equipment and materials.
