The Scope of Works
CDA were asked to design an install a Custom 17m x 33m Container Dome set-up for the Ballina Shire Council to be used as a custom Loading Bay at their Waste Management Facility.
The Challenges
The 17m x 33m Container Dome had to have an overall apex clearance of 10.5m to allow easy access and operation of plant and machinery including an excavator, tipper and front-end loader.
The unique site would also require a combination of different container anchor types due to the poor soil quality and on-site engineering solutions for the installation of the footings to ensure it met with council regulations.

The Outcome
The custom designed Container Dome was mounted on double stacked GP containers to achieve the required height clearance and a post mounted section at the rear allows easy side access to the Container Dome for a large excavator and tipper.
Our qualified and fully ticketed Production & Installation Teams had all works completed within the client’s timeframe with zero safety incidents reported during the project.
